Late 18th Century Cousineau Workshop French Pedal Harp 17 26" dia and 32" Hc. 1770s 1790s; Cousineau Workshop Paris, France Rare late 18th century French harp bearing the stamp "Cousineau A Paris," attributed to the workshop of renowned harp maker Georges Cousineau. The instrument features a richly carved Rococo inspired crown with floral and foliate ornament, a dramatically curved neck retaining its original tuning hardware, and a tapered soundbox displaying the elegant proportions associated with early French pedal harps.
