Some MkIIs were fitted with a wooden stock as this part was desirable and interchangeable with the Mk V

Included in our Royal Nepalese Army purchase of 2003 was this magnificent Indian Bronze Cannon, fully decorated measuring 66" overall and 15" across at the trunnions. The swamped muzzle it 9" across with a bore size of 3. 375" making this a 4 Pounder. The Cascabel on the rear has been lost, most probably "in action" as by tradition this Cannon was taken by the 6th Madras Light Infantry at the Battle of Seringapatan
